Hennessy MyWay asks bartenders to reimagine what a cognac cocktail can be, and to do it their own way. Australia and New Zealand have posted record entry numbers across recent seasons.
Reuben's work with Hennessy sits in the MyWay programme — the ANZ leg of the house's global cocktail competition, run with global ambassador Jordan Bushell — alongside trade tastings and menu work built around the cognac.
His approach fits the brief: long preparation, fermentation and clarification, and a finished drink that still reads simply to the person holding it.
